Site is beautifully maintained and very quiet. The caravan was spotless, well appointed and very comfortable. It had tea/coffee tray provided. A great location for visiting the area. Checking in/out was quick and easy and staff pleasent and helpful. We would definitely return.
We had a great family trip away. The caravan was great. Liked having washing up liquid, tea, coffee (the essentials) etc. Good to have a choice of channels/apps on the TV. Love that all the staff are friendly, it makes a real difference. Ace getting a call to say the caravan was ready a bit earlier. Lady on reception was ‘excellent’ – 5 star! Lots of ideas of places to go which we needed. Cafe was fab. We would defo come back again. Thank you.
The park is well kept, neat and tidy, has attractive features, a stream etc. Very peaceful, relaxing surroundings. Easy access to York via the Park & Ride, the Moors and such beautiful scenery.
A very quiet and restful break. Lodge clean, spacious and comfortable. All staff are helpful and pleasent. Separate dog run a bonus. Recommended!

Brilliant stay – the nicest caravan we’ve ever stayed in! Fantastic facilities, my 4 year old loved the park. Great atmosphere around the park… See you next year! 
Peaceful, clean. Lovely childrens park away from caravans but 2 minute walk. So you can have peace at home after the kids have played on the park. Great cakes in the cafe too!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a restful, peaceful stay in a beautifully kept park. Staff were friendly and professional. Caravan was perfectly clean and was equiped with everything we needed. Easy access to the Moors, York, Pickering and Scarborough. In the future maybe you can squeeze in a small pool, then the site would be absolutely perfect. Thank you – we shall come again.
We booked a last-minute family break for the school holidays and we had a great time. Lovely place/accommodation and we found lots to do.
We all had a fabulous time here. Our beautiful cabin was clean, expensively furnished and had lovely modern crockery – I want your tea pot, milk jug and sugar bowl! The views from our windows were breathtaking, and… so quiet, all the time! The play park and football pitch were a massive hit.

Our first stay at this holiday park. The park is a credit to the owners and all the team that work here. We had a lovely welcome from Sam when we arrived, took us to the caravan and explained fully about all the facilities.

We have had a fantastic short stay here. This is one of the best parks we’ve stayed at. The caravan was pristine and of a very high standard which only enhanced our holiday. The grounds of the park are so well kept, we enjoyed walking round with our children, swings and dog exercise area complete the package. We would love to come back, thank you.

Absolutely love it here. The lodge was a real ‘WOW’ when we saw it and the setting is beautiful. Especially love the fenced off area for dogs to have a run. We will definately be back!
The site owners can be proud of themselves and their staff for delivering what has to be one of the top venues in this beautiful part of Yorkshire. From the lady site manager to the staff tendering the lawns and amenities, they all clearly love their job. Nothing is too much trouble and always delivered with a smile. Had a great few days – the caravan was one of the best we’ve stayed in.
The water feature is fantastic… We have taken home inspiration for our own garden. The grounds are very pleasing. Thank you for having a ‘dogs on leads’ policy – it made a huge difference to our enjoyment, although we are dog owners, we are not good with dogs off the lead.
Once again we had a fantastic family holiday. Our little boy loves it here. Really enjoys playing on the football field and play area.
All management and staff are lovely and welcoming. The grounds are immaculately maintained.
We first visited this site in 1965. We came to see friends who were camping here at the time. We got the camping bug and the rest of the story is history! We have been to a number of sites over a period of 33 years and still say that York House takes some beating. Congratulations to Phil and Tim, they have done a magnificent job.
