It wasn’t just our welcome that was warm as we re-opened our holiday parks last week.
As the Spring sunshine smiled down on us, our holiday home owners began arriving back at their happy place on Monday, April 12th, when the gates were lifted once again at York House Holiday Park, Abbots Green Luxury Lodges, Monk Park Holiday Park and Old Hall Holiday Park.
It has been absolutely fantastic to see everyone again and catch up (at a distance!) on the many months we have missed.
We’ve had lots of wonderful comments about how pleased people are to be back in their holiday homes and how well our parks have been maintained. These include:
- “Great to be back.”
- “I can’t believe how much I have missed this place.”
- “The park is looking fantastic.”
- “We can’t wait to catch up with everyone when we can, social distancing allowing.”
- “We have retired so we are going to spend a lot more time here and enjoy our holiday home.”
It was also brilliant to be able to re-open the Old Barn Coffee Shop, our on-site café at York House Holiday Park. We have put a new plastic cover over the patio area, to ensure our customers enjoy their experience with us, whatever the weather.
The Old Barn is now open for takeaways and outside table service from 10am to 3pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A delicious selection of breakfast rolls, sandwiches, cakes and drinks are available.
All the procedures that we implemented after the first lockdown, including social distancing rules, remain in place to keep everyone safe, and we are keeping up to date with the latest Government guidance and restrictions. For more about the rules for visiting our holiday parks, please click here.
We’re looking forward to welcoming back more home owners as the weeks go by, and can’t wait to see everyone enjoying some well-deserved fun and relaxation.
